Cole, a Calgary native, maintains his roots in the city while advancing his professional hockey career internationally. playing career
Cole has enjoyed a decade-long professional hockey career, following a notable four-year tenure with the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL. During his time with the Blazers, he played 256 games, notching 95 goals and 142 assists. He transitioned to professional hockey after signing an NHL entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars, foregoing his overage WHL season.
Cole spent three seasons with the Texas Stars in the AHL, accumulating 20 goals and 26 assists in 123 games. He then moved on to the ECHL, where he excelled with 70 goals and 125 assists for a total of 195 points in 191 games. His career continued in the Tipos Extraliga in Slovakia, where he recorded 18 goals and 27 assists for 45 points in 46 games.
Following a hip surgery that sidelined him for most of the 2022-2023 season, Cole finished the year with Västervik in the HockeyAllsvenskan, contributing 5 points in 7 games. He then joined the Cardiff Devils in the EIHL, playing 44 games and amassing 13 goals and 30 assists for 43 points.
